Our projects focus on education & skill development, foundational wellbeing, and empowerment through connections. And because we are small, agile, and have direct relationships with schools and members of the communities we serve, we are able to put our funds to efficient use creating higher impact per dollar.
Period Product Distribution
in partnership with NORA Period Care
Inaccessibility of sufficient hygiene and sanitary products is one major obstacle to keeping girls in school. In partnership with NORA, we supply girls washable period care kits along with a menstrual education workshop where girls have a safe space to share challenges such as bullying, shame, and missing school.

Tuition Funding
at our partner school Dr. B.R. Ambedkar JHS
We are proud to partner with Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Junior High School in Haldwani, Uttarakhand to fund tuition, books, and uniform for 100 girls who would otherwise not be able to afford school. Dr. B.R. Ambedkar JHS caters to families living in the most marginalized communities and castes. Our tuition funding program is a multi-year commitment to students we accept to ensure they complete their education with the school. A $100 donation covers the annual cost for one girl.
Infrastructure Rebuild

After flood damage left the school without a functioning girls’ bathroom for two years, students had no toilets, no water, no privacy, and many missed school during their periods. We built three new toilets — two for girls, one for female teachers — complete with running water and proper hygiene facilities.

English Lessons

Speaking English is a marketable skill for people in India and affords an advantage in confidence and employment opportunities. We are working with our partner school to pilot self-learning English via Smart Board technology. Our need right now is $1,000 in funding to purchase a Smart Board for the school.
Sports Workshop
at our partner school Dr. B.R. Ambedkar JHS
We held a five-day sports workshop in the spring of 2025 after hearing that some of the girls dreamed of playing sports, but few had the opportunity to do so. We worked with Coach Jadeh Somerville to develop engaging activities that our team in India hosted. They discovered strength, teamwork, and equality.

Career Workshop
field trip to New Delhi to explore opportunities
We have scoped a 2026 initiative to hold a 3-day career workshop field trip to New Delhi that will expand the girls' horizons of possibilities they may dream and achieve. We have relationships with various businesses ranging from IT to cosmetology who will be able to offer tours and a peek inside what it is like to work in these fields. We are seeking $5,000 in funding to roll out this project.
Uniform & Clothing Distribution
in partnership with an India-based donor
Thanks to a generous donor, we received 2,000+ pieces of school clothing and uniforms, enabling us to support 700+ students across five schools in Uttarakhand. Students expressed newfound pride. Teachers noted higher attendance and stronger school identity.
